GED 528:
Computers in the Classroom

Taconic-Learning

Institutes :: GED 528
|
| From 1998 through 2003
(except for 1999), I taught this course at the College of Saint Joseph
in Vermont. Typically, students in this course were a
collection of pre-service and in-service teachers who had a broad range
of experiences with technology. |
|
Purpose
of the Course (when I taught it!)
Computers in Classrooms introduces a variety of
models for creating meaningful technology-rich experiences in modern
classrooms. The syllabus is rewritten on a regular basis, and the
syllabus is modified to meet individual's needs, but each session and
all projects are focused by themes such as "Becoming a more competent
user of technology" and "Understanding how technology influences
learning" and "Understanding technology in modern schools."
